Heathkit SG-8 Signal Generator upgraded recapped tested ACCURATE

Description

This generator is in excellent condition and should provide many years of reliable service.  It has had the capacitors replaced, the front panel RF output has been upgraded to a BNC connector so you can use a wide variety of modern test cables, and the line cord was replaced with a modern 3 prong plugged cord for safer operation.
The output is accurate within factory standards for used service grade equipment, the modulation works properly, and the controls and switches rotate and function smoothly, both mechanically and electrically.
The cabinet is decent but obviously not new; I will get photos up in a few days.
I have been a professional electronics technician in the consumer field for 50 years, and when I sell equipment, I expect it to work as well for you as I would insist on it working on my own bench.
